Background

I guess I'm an audiophile. I love music, and appreciate well recorded music played on a good hifi. I own many hundreds of CDs, all ripped to my PC and streamed to my hifi. This page is not about the hardware or the reproduction, but is why after years of simply playing and enjoying my music collection, I have signed up to Spotify Premium.

For a while now Spotify Premium has been CD quality, so there is no sound-quality downside to streaming.

Having signed up, I spent a while searching for albums I listened to frequently and added them to my Library.
