Roland Fantom FA-06

This capable music-workstation synthesizer is probably all I need. Full stop. Not just a fantastic VA synth engine, but a huge selection of Roland's astonishing Supernatural instruments (including drumkits) from the Integra-7, a flexible and easy to use sequencer, the ability to split the keyboard, and simple multi-tracking. Composing and playing music was never easier or more fun.

I have it stacked above a good hammer-action keyboard (Studiologic Acuna 73) which is perfect for the pianos and electric pianos. The built-in touch-sensitive keyboard is perfect for the synths, organs etc. I'm not a user of after-touch so I don't miss it. It's a great time to be alive and making music!
