Condensed font. Not to be used in a big block, but when you want to squeeze stuff in - this is your boy! Are names like McMenemin legible? Can I fit Bridgestock in a small space? There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form. My favourite serif body font, there is something comfortable about this one. There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form. Here is Bold, here is Italic age&£ As you see the italic is spoofed.

An excellent general-purpose sans, sadly only one style. The lower-case f gives it character. There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form. Here is Bold, here is Italic age&£ As you see these are spoofed.

Fonts used on this Website

Noto Serif

Noto Serif is a particularly balanced and easy-to-read serif font served by Google, and for some time has been JET5's default serif font. It is the font used to render the JET5 logo text. I've selected bold with a weight of 700 to provide plenty of contrast. The italic version of the typeface is particularly balanced and traditional in appearance.

Arial

Yes, JET5 uses the dull, ubiquitous, and despised Arial for interface components (buttons, menus etc). Why? It is a system font so lightning fast, I actually like its tight kerning, and it is perfectly legible at the font sizes used.

Fira Sans Extra Condensed

"Fira Sans Extra Condensed" is used in some of JET5's heading styles where it allows the use of long, space-efficient headings while preserving readability. The lower-case g gives text some character. As you can see here it is hard work as body text!
